ASUS Computex 2017 Products – ZenBook Flip S, ZenFone AR, ZenBook 3 Deluxe and More

ASUS today unveiled the ZenBook Flip S (UX370), the worlds thinnest convertible laptop. The ASUS ZenBook Flip S is a Windows 10 laptop that has a 360-flippable display and is only 10.9mm thick with a weight of 1.1 kg. The 360 ErgoLift hinge has a dual-action mechanism that lifts and tilts the keyboard into a typing position when the display is opened beyond 135. ASUS went with a 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor to power this system and 1TB PCIe SSD from a brand that was not mentioned.

ASUS Flipbook S

ASUS also showed off the ZenBook 3 Deluxe (UX490), which is now the worlds thinnest 14-inch laptop at 12.9mm-thick and 1.1 kg in weight. The ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe is powered by the 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor, up to 16GB of 2133MHz LPDDR3 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe SSD. Expansion capabilities are provided by two USB Type-C (USB-C) ports that are Thunderbolt 3-enabled with support for 40Gbps data transfers, dual 4K UHD external displays and power delivery. The 14-inch NanoEdge ultranarrow-bezel display looks pretty slick and this is a high-end laptop that should appeal to power users around the world. ASUS also announced the ZenBook Pro (UX550), ASUS VivoBook S15, and ASUS VivoBook Pro 15,so they have a released new laptop models in a number of series.

ASUS Zenbook 3 Deluxe

One of the more important announcements on the mobile side would most certainly be ASUS ZenFone AR smartphone running Android 7.0 Nougat that is Tango-enabled and Daydream-ready. To become Tango-enabled the ASUS engineers came up with ASUS TriCam technology a three-camera system consisting of a 23MP main camera, a motion-tracking camera, and a depth-sensing camera. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor powers the phone that has been optimized for Tango, and its the world’s first smartphone with 8GB of RAM. The phone is finished off with a 5.7-inch WQHD Super AMOLED display and a new five-magnet speaker system to ensure the best audio possible for gaming.
