Fortnite Playground LTM Goes Live

By

Gamers who have been waiting for Fortnite’s Playground mode to go live can now play the limited time mode. Limited time means it won’t be around forever, exactly how long it will be around we don’t know. The mode lets you build your own island without worrying that enemies will kill you.

You can fight against other players in scrimmage mode, but as soon as you die you respawn. Players can use the mode to keep an eye on all those rifts that opened after the rocket launch. The delay in launching the mode came from some sort of matchmaking error that plagued the initial launch.

Epic does warn players that some matchmaking errors might persist. “Please remember to change your region back to “auto select” and verify youre on your preferred region. There is the possibility that you may encounter an error, as many players are attempting to join this game mode. Just attempt to requeue until you find a match.”

Errors that Epic had said are still lingering include exhausting server capacity, matchmaking queue back-pressure that is specific to Playground mode and recovering when a new capacity is added reports VG247. “Weve completed deploying our servers containing the improved matchmaking changes. All players can now join in on the fun in the Playground LTM.”
