Logitech has announced, what it is calling its most advanced ergonomic mouse, the MX Vertical. The MX Vertical is an advanced ergonomic mouse that couples a high-tech design with an increased performance that is similar to other Logitech MX series mice. The MX Vertical is designed to reduce forearm strain and wrist pressure using an optimized vertical use angle to help a users posture.Logitech MX_Vertical

Logitech claims that their new MX Vertical mouse is one of the most tested in the industry and that it is from hours and hours of testing and use that the Logitech designers and engineers came up with the ideal handshake position of 57-degree vertical angle. This angle helps reduce muscular activity by up to 10 percent when compared to normal mice on the market today. This new design should not just help those who are experiencing wrist strain or fatigue though. Logitech created the MX Vertical to fit a wide variety of hand shapes and sizes for use on a number of different surfaces.

Ergonomics is not the only thing the MX Vertical designers were concentrating on though, however. Logitech gave the MX Vertical a best-in-class 4,000 DPI high-resolution, a high-precision sensor that should maximize movement efficiency and at the same time reduce users fatigue. The cursor speed can instantaneously be changed to adjust DPI speed and accuracy as well so the gamer in you will be satisfied as well. You will be able to pair up to three devices and easily switch between them with the push of a button or by moving the cursor from one screen to another with Logitech FLOW driver software.

Logitech has announced the MX Vertical to be available for pre-order on August 20 for a suggested price of $99.99. The mouse should hit the streets sometime in September.
