Fortnite Battle Royale Update 6.22 Brings New Weapon and More

Fortnite fans can get some new skins, a new weapon, and a new LTM to enjoy in the latest update for the game. The update brings Fortnite to 6.22, and the skins are NFL-themed allowing Fortnite players to support their favorite team. The new weapon is the Heavy AR.

The heavy assault rifle comes in rare, epic, and legendary forms and can be found in chests, vending machines, and supply drops or picked up as floor loot. Balloon drop rate has been significantly decreased. A new LTM is called Team Terror and pits two teams of 32 against each other with the goal of wiping out the opposition.

The catch in the mode is that Cube Monsters will attack you as well. A returning LTM is Blitz; this mode speeds up play. The NFL skins will be available starting November 9 reports GameSpot.

Epic notes that you can get a skin for all 32 NFL teams and that you can customize the number on your jersey from 0-99. There is no word on pricing for the NFL skins, but they will be offered in the store.
